Tiffany Links and more Tiffany Clasp, Stamp, and more Tiffany Pouch
Color: Tiffany sterling jewelry will photograph dark silver and even gold colored sometimes, not pure silver or silver-white. Some fake Tiffany had been coated with Rhodium, which gives it a whitish appearance. Below is an image of a real and fake Tiffany piece: 
Note: The bracelet is real and the necklace is fake. Notice the difference in the color of the silver. The fake has a shiny steel look and the real Tiffany has an aged look. (The fake Tiffany also has some noticeable tarnish to it).
Weight: Tiffany tag bracelets and necklaces are made of .925 sterling silver, and are heavy, if your jewelry feels light in comparison to it's size, beware. The tiffany round charm bracelet with the "please return to tiffany" is 7.5 inches long, and fastens next to the charm with a lobster clasp.  [4/11/10]Tiffany tag bracelts also come in
sizes, 8', and 8.5'.
Below is an image of the bracelet on a postal scale. The length of the bracelet is the correct 7.5’, and the weight of the bracelet is 1.2 oz, with 25 links, (the 8', and 8.5' bracelets will have more links [exact link counts needed]). 
Below is an image of a fake Tiffany heart necklace: (A tiffany toggle necklace is 16 inches long. The dog tag necklace and the heart tag necklace are both 15.5 inches long, they both fasten in the front and they are engraved with "please return to tiffany." ) The fake Tiffany heart necklace (below) is an incorrect 15.8 inches long, weighs 2.4 oz, and has 59 links. 
Note: The fake necklace is more than twice the size of the bracelet, yet it only weighs exactly twice as much.
The weight per link is lighter on the fake Tiffany than the weight per link on the real
Tiffany.
Links: The links on any Tiffany bracelet or necklace will not be pinched together. They will be soldered together with little or no trace of a gap line. Similar to the O-rings and links on handbags, the Tiffany links should not have a noticeable crease where the two links ends were pinched together (this tell pertains to handbags as well and can be found in several of our handbag guides [concerning O-rings]).
