Dolce & Gabbana or D & G: Dolce and Gabbana is the top tier label, and D&G is the second tier label, both made from the same designers. Dolce and Gabbana labels are black on white, or white on black. They do not utilize a hologram authenticity sticker. D&G merchandise will have the hologram stickers. The possible reason for this is that Dolce & Gabbana is the top tier label, and thus higher quality, meaning that there would be a noticeable difference in the details between authentic Dolce and poor quality phony Dolce. However, D&G being a lower end label, is manufactured with slightly less quality than Dolce, and hence would be slightly harder to distinguish from the fake D&G. Therefore the hologram sticker gives the original D&G something extra to distinguish itself from the fakes. Euro Sizing: Dolce & Gabbana will have EUR sizing. Nothing will be sized S(small), M(medium) or L(large) etc. However, D&G will utilize the S,M,L, system very rarely, but the vast majority of the time D&G will be sized to EUR standards.
Labels/holograms: Dolce & Gabbana labels will not be combined with a D&G label hologram. A Dolce & Gabbana label will not use a D&G hologram. However, holoram stickers have been seen on some other items like glasses. Dolce & Gabbana or D&G: The two logos will never be combined on the same Dolce & Gabbana fashion piece. Meaning if a scarf says Dolce & Gabbana on the interior label, but the tag says D&G then that should raise a red flag. These two logos will never be in placed together on any Dolce & Gabbana piece of merchandise, meaning the top tier label. Below is an image of a Dolce & Gabbana logo: This means that D&G will not appear anywhere on the tags, box, dustcloth, case etc. 
Below is an image of a D & G logo: This means that D&G will be on the tags, box, dustcloth, case etc, and it is possible that the tag may also say Dolce & Gabbana, but only if D&G is above it, or on the left side of it. 
These logo combinations are acceptable:
Note: Notice that Dolce & Gabbana is exclusive. Below is an example of an authentic D&G label with the Dolce & Gabbana logo: Note: The correct spacing between the D&G and DOLCE & GABBANA. Also notice the font for the "&". This is often times done incorrectly, and/or the wrong size in relation to the logo (as seen in second image below). 
Below is an image of a fake D&G label: Note: Notice there is little space between the D&G and Dolce & Gabbana. Also, the "&", is the incorrect front. This is something that often times the counterfeiters get incorrect. It is a small detail, often overlooked by both the shopper and the counterfeiter. Always take notice of the "&", in every logo. In this fake (below), the "&" is also too big in relation to the rest of the logo. The stitch lines are also quite shoddy compared to the real logo, and they also appear to be a different color. 
Tags/serial numbers: Each item will naturally have a unique serial number. The tags will normally have an embossed feel, meaning the print is slightly raised, and Dolce&Gabbana also uses a large dpi (dots per inch) type of print. The print on the tags when examined up close, is formed with rather large dots or circles, and does not appear to be a solid print. Below is an image of an authentic D&G tag: Note: Notice the dots/circles/shapes forming the image. 
Below is a fake tag: Note: Notice the solid print. 
Below is the complete fake tag: Note: There are certain small details concerning space relations that vary from the fake tag (below), to the real tag (two below). One is the S.P.A. printing, it is too wide in relation to the "R" above it. And the second is the "SOLOS' logo, which is slightly too spaced out in places as well. The authentic tag print is slighly more compact. Also, the number fonts are not the same.
