Step 2. Once you have identified in writing that the item is fake,

Explain to them the documentation you have verifying the item is counterfeit, and ask for a
refund.
If the seller grants a refund, then you can stop here, (always purchase tracking/delivery confirmation or
signature confirmation when
you ship back your return). However, If the seller does not grant you a
full refund, then proceed to Step three. If despite the refund you still wish to notify
eBay of the counterfeit merchandise, then procced to Step 6.
Step 3. Print out a copy of the auction page if it is still available and make copies
for your records.
Take photos of the item, specifically the parts needed to identify the
item as fake (the authentication service should help with that info). Then procced to step four.
Step 4. If you purchased your item via Pay Pal, go to their website, log in and file a
buyer dispute/fraud claim, or you can click on your transaction details for links to claims. Paypal website. They may request all the information you have gathered thus far.
You may need to fax PayPal some or all of these documents:
The original auction copies.
The pictures you took.
The authentication paperwork/letter.
This should be enough to be awarded a refund. However, if Paypal denies you the claim,
then proceed to Step 5. However, if you are rewarded a refund, and still wish
to report the issue to eBay, then proceed to Step 6.
Step 5: Contact your credit card company that you used through PayPal, and tell them
the situation. Inform them of the evidence you have aquired thus far. Explain to your credit
card company you would like a chargeback. The credit card company should
be helpful in a situation like this. If you receive a chargeback through your credit card company
and still wish to notify eBay of the counterfeit merchandise, then proceed to the next step.

There are multiple ways to report a counterfeit item (other than the "counterfeits and
copyright violations" section):
1. Report as a listing violation:
Step 1: Select "Listing policy violations"
Step 2: Select "Misleading title"
Step 3: Select "Intentionally misleading or deceptive titles"
Click on "Continue"
When next page appears, click on "Email us"

2. Report as a fraudulant listing:
Step 1. Select "Listing policy violations"
Step 2: Select "Fraudulent listings"
Step 3: Select "You suspect that a listing is fraudulent but you didn't bid"
Step 4: This box contains a message telling you to click on "Continue".
Click on Continue
When the next page appears, click on "Email us".
When the next page appears, you will see a box with the item number already input and a box titled ""Enter your question/concern".
Detail your evidence that the article is fraudulent.
3. Report within the item's listing itself:
At the top of every listing, under the "other item info" section, is a link stating: "report item." Click on the
link and report your evidence.
