Combining some of these brand specific points with the universal tells we have listed should

Note: Many of the images we use to highlight a specific tell, may also have another tell
within the same photo. When this occurs we will try to point out the secondary tell.
However, on occasion we may miss some of the secondary tells in the photos. So we encourage
you the reader to inspect the images for other tells, this will help increase your spotting skills.

Jimmy Choo/ebay:
1. Label/font:
A lilac color
made of metal and usually affixed upon leather
edging and the Jimmy Choo font in silver or gold.
The font is a key factor in determining a fake Jimmy Choo.
Below is an image of a real vs. fake Jimmy Choo font:
Note: Notice the thickness of the "MM", and the "C", in the fake Jimmy Choo label font. These
are very subtle tells but with some inspection and comparison they can be spotted. Also, notice
the "O's" in the real Jimmy CHoo, they have an almost slant to them and are slightly wider
that the "O's" in the fake label. It's in these ultra subtle tells the story is told. The
better quality the fake is, the more you must rely on the subtle tells.
Note: Also note the signature Jimmy Choo high crossing "H". The fake has got this correct
for the most part, (the cross is a little high) but it fails on the other fonts (more on the
high crossing "H" later).
2. Hardware: Hardware should have the Jimmy Choo logo stamped on following the same
font standards as the label. The "H" should have the signature Jimm Choo high cross and
quality, clear impressions.
Note: The "H" on the fake snap has a traditional cross in the middle of the letter, not the signature
Jimmy Choo high cross as seen in the authentic snap.
Below are image of real vs. fake Jimmy Choo snaps:
Ramona, Riki, Etc. front closure:
Note: Same signature Jimmy choo high crossed "H". Also, the screws on the back of the hardware
will always be flat head (-), never phillips/cross screws (+).

Below is an image of a fake Jimmy Choo closure piece:
Note: Again notice the center crossed "H". Also, notice the latch in the center of the image, there
is clear space between the center block and the outer latch revealing part of the pin, where on the real Jimmy Choo image
above, there is no space between the center block and the latch. This means that the
fake hardware closure would "rattle", and the authentic Jimmy Choo closure would slide
smoothly. Plus the "Jimmy Choo" is not centered perfectly between the rivets like in the above image, it is
stamped slightly lower than center.
Zipper: When an authentic Jimmy Choo zipper is closed, the zipper teeth will form
a diamond/triangle pattern in the middle of the zipper. Also, the zipper pull will
be engraved with "Jimmy Choo". The same high "H" cross standards apply.
Note: Notice the diamond triangular pattern in the center of the zipper teeth:

Note: Notice the center of the zipper teeth, there is no diamond pattern:
3. Dustbag: Authentic Jimmy Choo dustbag should read, "JIMMY CHOO" and "LONDON" underneath.
The font should be embossed on the dust bag and should be grey colored.
The dustbag itself should be is lilac with a faint
drawstring pull in lilac and roughly 3/4" inch thick.
Below are real vs. fake Jimmy Choo dustbag fonts and colors:
Some notes:
- Screws on hardware are flat head (-), never philips (+)
- The H in JIMMY CHOO should always be crossed high.
- Many JChoo bags with price tags attached to bag may be fake.
- Plastic wrap on any part are usually fakes.
- Interior lining is always moleskin; never suede, fabric, etc.
Suede or fabric lining is a major red flag.
- Interior trim; lilac ribbon with slight feather edge.
