Quick tips for cleaning heavily soiled or slightly dirty Coach shoes. Coach utilizes a mixture of the finest leathers found worldwide, focusing on Italian calf that boasts a textured richness and durability, and American leather which is known for it's strength and everlasting quality. Naturally, much care should be taken when cleaning these materials. Only use products designated for shoe cleaning, leather cleaning etc. The wrong chemical can severely damage or discolor your merchandise, and the effects will most likely be irreversible.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

1) Calfskin, Natrual Grain, Waxy leather

a) First wipe the shoes or sneakers with a dry rag or cloth, making sure to get as much of the superficial dust off the shoes as possible.
b) Get out your best leather shoe cream/polish, gently dabbing the cream in tiny, clockwise (circular) motions. Let sit for a brief moment.
Use a dry cloth, (namely one specifically for buffing) and polish the shoe using the same circular motions used to apply the cream.

2) Nubuc and Suede

a)Dig out your best suede brush. If you don't have a suede brush, consider purchasing one.
b) If the shoe markings or color stains are overly obstinate, then you must utilize the suede eraser first and foremost to knock out the heavy stuff.
c) After hitting the shoe with the suede eraser, softly brush the shoe or sneaker with the suede brush.
[!] Beware: When cleaning colored suede, you there is always a possibility of color shifting.

3) High Polish Calf

a) If shoes are heavily dirty, or have an excess of soil use an ever so slight damp cloth to do the initial wipe down.
b)If not so dirty, use a dry cloth to do the wipe down.
c) If the shoes are still crying out for help, you can always use a bit of Meltonian wax. What this specific wax will do is bring some more of the fundamental color.

4) Burnished Calf/Fabric

a) For very dirty shoes: Use a damp cloth for the first attack.
b) For average to low amounts of soiling: Use a dry cloth for the simple wipe down.
[!] Beware: Do not use the Coach leather cleaner or moisturizer on burnished calf/fabric shoes.
