Label: The label on the (left) is fake, but it does have some of the details correct. The phony Somerset label correctly has no metal plate, and also correctly has a leather oval or egg shaped leather. The problem is with the quality. The stitching framing the label is sloppy, and uneven in places. The most notable is the bottom-right area of the label, there you can see the stitch lines bunch up and a few of the individual stitches are out of order . Another issue is with the centering of the gold Mulberry logo stamp impression. The Mulberry logo is slightly too high within the oval leather backing. An authentic Mulberry Somerset gold logo should be centered perfectly within the oval leather backing. On this phony logo (left), that is not the case. Any off-center or irregular logo stamp impressions will always be a red flag. Model number: An authentic Somerset should have the letters [ZA] on the backside of the label.
